It's time to upgrade the exhaust. I'm considering either the flowmaster delta 40 or 50. I read the posts on the differences.

What I want are opinions of people who have had either one of these flowmaster mufflers and another brand. Which do you like better (flowmaster or other brand) and why? Seems that gibson and dynomax are popular choices (any others?) but it's hard to determine who has tried either one of these brands and a flowmaster. Did you keep the flowmaster or do you prefer the other?

95 CC 4x4 3.9L auto. Currently have single out, considering the possibility of doing dual out.

I have flowmaster on my truck. When I had to get a new muffler put on I told the shop that I wanted quiet in the cab but some noise on the outside and that is exatcly what I got. It is quiet in the cab but a nice deep tone if you stand by the back. Sorry I do not know what flowmaster they put on. I have a 3.9L as well.

i have a flowmaster 40 series single in dual out. i have both pipes exiting in front of my passenger side rear tire and it sounds great but it is too loud inside the truck. i have new pipes that i need to put on to go straight out the back. it sounds mean as hell and a couple of ppl thought that i had a v-8. the only downside with infront of the tire is that it resonates really bad at cruising speed inside my quad cab. i will put another post on here once i get the new pipes installed.
