Subject: lights on dash

I have a 98 3.9 Dak with 89000 miles, well the other day I was driving and I saw my ABS and BRAKE light come on while driving. Then I noticed that Speedometer gauge wasnt working till I got to 30mph. The truck itself ran fine with those warining lights on, could this be a faulty sensor?
Thanks
Sal

Yes, that would be your rear wheel speed sensor, it has a little magnetic pick-up that gets damaged and has to be replaced. (About $25 from advanced auto parts). The reason why your abs light is on as well is that the abs system takes it's input from the sensor as well.
