It seems high to me, but after checking KBB, their trade-in value is a little over 6,000 and dealer pricing at about 10,000. Where are you located? What kind of condition. The miles are high, considering that at about 100,000 miles that's when you start to have problems on most cars. It really depends on the condition.

Way too high when you factor in the tranny....if it's an automatic and hasn't been rebuilt or replaced. Tack another 2 grand onto that price and you'll see what I mean.

Kelly, I bought my '98 Dakota, CC, V6, 4X4 @ 125,000 miles, two years ago for $10,500. Since then, I found this website and have learned a lot from these guys. My truck now has 198,000 miles on it, and it is doing fine.
Relf.

Thanks for the info everyone, I'm going to drive the truck again tomorrow and see what I can work out with the dealership for a price.

I bought my 2000 Dak V6 2wd for 7000 with only 63,000 miles. That seems a bit high i'm sure you could negotiate with them and offer 6,000 cash.

TIA-
