Popping back thru TB, new wires,plugs,cap & rotor. when 1st start is fine 4 first 10-15 seconds, if u rev up to 1000 rpm or over starts popping back, after 30 seconds, if u dont keep it over 1000 rpm it will die. some carbon chuncks came out tailpipe when 2000 rpm or more. popping & banging all the time. Dist is less 1 year old, could this be the bushing & gear? This started all at once. was runing just fine. thanks 4 any help. Geo/ w5gta

Sounds familiar and yes, could very well be the bushing and gear. My post is the 92 stall and backfire, same problems! Take a look see and hopefully it will save you some money ;)

where do u buy the tools to change the gear & bushing
SPX/Miller tool # C-3052 and C-3053 bushing puller and driver burnisher. thank u geo.
