I had a 1995 dakota sport reg cab short bed..Yesterday I purchased a 1999 Dakota SLT Ext Cab short bed.. both with the 3.9 L Magnum..Will my SLT be slower or quicker than my old truck..Thanks..

slower, the Gen III's are heavier than the Gen II's. and you also went from an RC to a CC.
