Hello I have a 1993 dakota 3.9 liter 2x4 automatic, yesterday morning I went out to my truck and it wouldnt start turned over easly but wouldnt start and later that afternoon i went out to make sure it was getting spark and it started and ran fine and this morning i went out there and it wouldnt start agian and I dont know whats wrong with it. It has gas in it and i replaced the fuel filter, plugs,wires,distributer cap and roter about 6 months ago and i didnt have any problems with it until yesterday. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

you may want to check that factory splice leaving the power dist box. do a search on here. it's been discussed several times.

thankyou daddio I never would have looked there, but I went out there and found what i think is that connection its 1 red wire with a white tracer going into 3 red with white tracers is this the correct one. And how do I go about fixing this connection.

unwrap it, it could be all corroded and greenish looking. if it were me, i'd solder everything up and use heat shrink tubing and tape to cover it all up nice and tight.
