Some sort of problem with my OSS (output speed sensor) has been causing my check engine light to be on for awhile now. I'm pretty sure that the OSS is somewhere near the tranny, but haven't been able to find it yet. has any body else had this problem, how much and how easy would it be to replace it myself?

I do drive a 2WD drive, and my next truck will definetly be a 4x4. but i'm definetly not a streetruck kind of guy, so my dakota will not be lowered and i will not get any size rims larger than 16's. And i did grow up living in an area where it snowed all the time, and i wouldn't have had it any other way. Hell I bet your one of those southern pricks with confederate flags covering up every inch of your truck and a cowboy hat on your dash even though your probly a city boy livin with your mama. By the way tell her i said thanks for the crabs, i want my refund back.

All this over a question about my OSS. But then again u definetly did provide me with some enternaiment to help pass the day along, and my coworkers can't stop laughing. and they all agree that fords are crap
