 Subject: heat and a/c controls not working

repost from general board.
I replaced my evaporator core, now my heat and a/c controls do not work. The switch for hot/cold does, but the switches to change between floor, vent and defrost do not. I know all of the hoses are connected to the proper side of the actuators, the lines are connected to the back of the heat and a/c controls.
I know I'm missing something simple here. Any thoughts?

this is stupid but simple. are you sure you reconnected the rod that moves the door that directs the air.

Yeah that is connected. I think i have an issue with a vaccuum leak or the line from the truck's vacuum system is not connected properly. I will probably not get to rip it all apart again until the weekend.
