 Subject: bought '90 4x4 3.9what to watch for?

I just bought a used 1990 Dodge W-150 4-speed with a 3.9 in it. Never had the the v-6 before. anything I need to know or watch for..Do's & Don'ts??.. I went through & replaced all the radiator hose's,spark plugs, plug wires, and switched to Mobil-1 synthetic oil...(5-40 ).has 95000 miles on it..starts great..like it so far..thanks in advance..great site here !!

the 3.9s are tough little motors,
200,000 miles is pretty common for these motors,
there under powered by most on this forum,specially the premag motors[87-91]
a few things can be done to get more hp,
i don,t think i would use a synthetic oil with 95,000 miles,unless it had synthetic oil in it,
the synthetic could flush the engine causing it to use oil[just me,others will disagree]
