i have a 96 3.9 v6 2wd automatic. when it is in first gear and i let off the gas there is a little clunk i can hear pretty well, and can feel it a little. i cant notice it at a higher speed. i was thinking maybe a loose link between the tranny/driveshaft/ rear axle or something like that. i was just wondering if theres some input anyone can give me. if its going to get worse or if its nothing to worry about. thanks-

Have you checked the rear tranny mount?

I have a 94 3.9 V6 and it does exactly the same thing. At low speeds if I let off the gas really quick I get a clunk and can feel it a little bit.
