 Subject: Rough Idle

Took my 2000 Dakota 3.9 V6 into the dealership. They told me I needed a tune up. Did the tune up still has rough idle. Took it back in they tell me everything checks out on the computer. They tell me timing chain is going bad. Little more than 44,000 on the truck. Nothing at this point makes sense to me. Any help greatly apreciated.

Have you cleaned throttle body and IAC ?
What about PCV valve ?
If you changed plugs
Did you index them between 10 and 2
towards the intake manifold ?
Also possible O2 sensor ! at front of cat..
How is fuel milage ?
