Pics are on my Cardomain page (page 6)...link in sig.

Superchips tuner and Harland Sharp RR's were going to be my next two purchases but then I lost my job so they've been delayed for now...plus gas prices are so high I don't think I wanna be using a Superchips tuner like I'd planned (Perf. program).

Additions include:
Billet aluminum gas door
Tonneau cover
Billet aluminum 3rd brake light cover
Carbon fiber euro tails
Tailgate lock
Clear corners
ohiodakotas.net windshield decal

josh, you got a nice looking truck there. i was kinda thinking about one of those billet gas doors for my '00 QC. not sure how it would look on white though. if they were available in black though and if i had the funds. but that's a whole other story.

Truck looks great, I'm just starting mods on a 95. I didn't see the IAT relocated did you do that? I have a tonneau cover so I wouldn't mind having a tailgate lock. What kind did you get & where and would it fit a 95?

Thanks guys! Daddio, I'm still debating whether I'm gonna keep the gas door on or not...I like it a lot but it's a real oddball currently. I'm hoping someone makes billet aluminum door handles because then I think it'd fit right in. I do think black would look better on some colors (red probably included). The one I got was cheap... around $40 on Ebay. It still feels like the quality is pretty good. My friend's were pretty impressed since they figured I just bought one of those stick-on covers that LOOK like a whole new gas door. I've had mixed feelings about it though...I've had many compliments on it and many say they didn't care for it at all. I think it's just one of those "you either love it or you hate it," things.

fh,
I never relocated my IAT sensor...considered it, but with my intake relocating would be quite interesting to say the least. I figure that's one mod I can live without. I got the tailgate lock off Ebay. It's made by Bully. The one I got was made for 97+ Daks, but it wouldn't surprise me if they made one for 96 and under Daks. It was pretty cheap too...around $25.
Okay...did some searching for you. They do make them (kinda hard to find)...but here's one site where you can find it. It's $45 though and if you do some searching around you can prolly find it for around $35 (maybe cheaper).

They do not make one for the Gen II Dakotas, I have searched everywhere. Luckily I bought a very light carbon fiber cover for my bed and it locks both the cover and the gate.

Thanks Josh for the info, I ordered a tailgate lock from the site you gave me. I have the K&N filter and for a 95 it is similar to your set up. I bought the plug and wiring to relocate the IAT but I'm not sure where I want to mount it or if I want to do it at all. Two things that really made my truck look sharp were the tonneau cover and replaceing my bedliner with Line-X. I've had the truck since new and rather than buy a new truck reading this site has given me the mod bug.

Glad to help out...even if it wasn't super helpful. lol

I've been told my carbon fiber euro tails really made my truck look sharper...that's what receives the most compliments. That and my wheels...gotten many compliments on those.

I just can't wait til I can work up the money to get my cowl induction hood painted and installed. It's sitting out in the shed waiting to be finished.

sharp looking dakota.i would agree, the carbon taillights do make it look awesome. i didn't realise they could match up so well with red. how much did you pay for them? i saw some last week on a dakota almost identical to mine (same color, graphite metallic) and ever since i've been looking. i was gonna keep the outside completely stock and go for engine mods, but with gas like it is i think i'll do a few exterior things. besides, my cousin has a 360 with 35000 miles on it sitting in his garage. he's gonna sell it to me cheap after we do some "mods" to it, hehe. after that happens i'll be spending all my money on gas anyway. but anyway, your truck looks sweet, keep up the good work.

Thanks...they were $67 on Ebay plus the usual arm & leg for shipping. Just as an FYI...they don't come with bulbs or anything, you just gotta swap your sockets from the old ones over to the new ones.
