Planning on doing an DIY fresh air set up...What's the inside diameter of the stck intake hose for my '03 Dakota V-6? I want to connect the stock rubber hose to ABS pipe then to the K&N element. Thanks!

Thanks Larry!! Job is finished!! I did something a little different. I used 3" ABS pipe to an 90 elbow down to the passenger front wheelwell, drilled an 3" hole through the front of the wheelwell, connected two 3" closet flanges(one top,one bottom...siliconed the surfaces, bolted them together and installed the K&N RE-0910 3" by 8" tall filter below. Total fresh air! The filter cost $43 at local Checker auto parts, the ABS parts were a total of $20...so for $63 I have an improved fresh air system! Thanks Again!!
