You guys got it good, In NW Indiana its $2.65 for 87, 2.75 for 89, and 2.93 for 93 octane. Im gonna buy a scooter and make it run on french fry oil.

well i wouldnt blame bush as much as i think we need to blame ourselves. we are the most automobile dependent country on the planet and we continually make, buy and drive vehicles that have horrible fuel economy.

I think on the bright side manufacturers will be forced to make more fuel efficient vehicles otherwise their sales will drop tremendously, so in the long run its probably going to balance out, but that could take a long time.

Well dave, blame OPEC. They are the ones setting daily production. THey are the ones pocketing the $$$$.

I've paid more than US$4/gal before for unlead when I was in Aus. Same thing is happening now like it did the last time it went over $2. People in huge SUV's whining about paying $80-100 to fill their tanks. Isnt my fault you bought a 10-12mph vehicle because you needed a status symbol.
