i have a 1992 3.9, a friend lost oil pump and locked up the engine on 1999 ram with 5.2 and installed junkyard engine. Gave me the entire 5.2, it sounds like the TB wont work but what about the injectors. motor only had about 70,000miles. have limited budget so trying to take advantage of opportunity. I'm a heavy truck mechanic do all work myself but hard to buy parts.

99 5.2 had 24# injectors

your 92 has 15#

upgrade to Bosch FMS 19#
fiveomotorsports.com around $200 for all 6

Call Fastman Dan and try to get a deal on a 46mm
fastman with both your stock TB and the 99 TB in
trade

Most of the 4X4's came with a 42mm with a 40mm
torque step going to a fastman 46mm would make
a big differance an easy 18hp gain at the wheels
from what you have now
