Hey, I've got a question what the power difference in a 3.9L and a 3.7L, and is the reliabilty about the same cause i know the 3.9's last a long time. thx

Here are the specs:
3.9liter : 175 hp / 225 lb-ft torque
3.7liter : 210 hp / 235 lb-ft torque
i test drove an 03'-3.9 and two days later test drove a 04'-3.7, i could defiantly feel the 3.7's additional power. I now own an 04-3.7,5-speed
As far reliability, the 7-year/70,000mile powertrain warranty should take care of any of your worries.
also, the 3.7 has been in the jeep liberty since 2002, so you might want to ask some peeps in the jeep liberty forums there opinion.
