on my 90 extended cab there is a one piece drive shaft,
on my 92 extended cab there is a two piece drive shaft.
are they interchange able? and if so which one is better to have?

If the length is the same yes interchangable also
yokes must be the same # of splines
The 2 piece is stronger and runs the joints at
less of an angle and is stronger than a 1 piece
