Larry, I found an old thread where there is talk of indexing the distributor. Your posts in the thread indicate that you are using a Snap On Scanner to do this- which scanner, and what is the procedure? My buddy has a Snap On Scanner, if there are instructions posted somewhere on the web where I can go print them out or if you can describe it, it would make it a lot easier. I doubt this is related to my mileage problems, but it can't hurt to get it running a little better, every little bit helps I guess....

If your buddy has the scanner he probably knows how to use it . monitor "sync" as you slowly turn dist until it reads what you want Mine is set at 6.. easy as setting the timing on the "old" point distributers ... any thing to add larry

Six pak, thanks for the 411. Yeah, he knows how to run the monitor, but he really isn't up to speed on Mopars or what you guys are doing with the injector timing. I'm sure once I tell him what the deal is he can handle it....thanks again! As the handle indicates, I'm 'OBD illiterate', I'm an IH Scout guy, so I'm used to dealing with points or at worst, first generation electronic ignitions... ;-)
