93 Club Cab 4x4 Rebuilt A500 3.9. I get at best about 17 hwy and 11 city. I have changed every sensor except the crank sensor, and i have changed the o2 sensor twice. 134k miles on the truck, has a new double roller chain, v8 tb, stock 3 inch exhaust (came that way in 93) with a flowmaster muffler, and high flow cat. truck runs great just gets crap for mileage, i have no clues what to do? i've been toying with the idea of new injectors and an engine flush, but i might just sell it instead.

I have noticed a couple of us gen III guys with the 3.9 4x4's are getting crap for gas. Well my check engine light recently came on, so I scanned it to find a cyl 2 misfire. I changed the plugs and wires with accel u grooves and 8mm high temp wires, but to no avail. My tailpipe does have black sh!t all on the inside, so I'm gonna change my 02 sensor as well, and when the weather gets nicer maybe ill flush the tranny and adjust the bands. That should help, it kicks like a mule now in reverse.

If you guys take a close look at the fuel milage of the Chev S-10 and the Ford Ranger you'll see that we don't get that bad of fuel milage. Depending on the options on your truck we get better milage then many other trucks, so don't feel to bad about it.

Check out some of the other trucks on this site and you'll fell better.
