i bought the superchip for my 3.9 5 speed and this is the only mod i have for my truck and i didnt notice any power upgrade. do i have to have other mods to make it work right. thanks

I got a cheep cold air intake and a F&B TB and did not notice much with mods. When I put the superchip on that is when I realy noticed something had changed. Like I have said befor I will not give up this mod!!!

well...u must ask your self...did u put towing or performance if your put performance...then ask if u hired your octane if u did then u need to fill with supreme gas/super unleaded...

Since you are not seeing any gains I would suspect that you have a sensor that is not working correctly. It would be a good idea to have a scanner hooked up to your engine and see if any sensors are giving bad readings. You could also have a problem with the fuel sync or maybe a plenum gasket leak. If you are not getting an increase something is wrong.
I have been running the superchips on the performance setting and using 89 octane (mid range) with no pinging and can tell a definite difference in power between stock and the superchips.

The superchip would pick that up...because it copies your vin number...it will tell u with a code what is wrong...put supper unleaded v power fuel...have it on performance...with a higher octane and u will feel the difference...
