can anyone tell me if those resistors that are sold on e-bay really work? their add says that it plugs into the IAT sensor and fools the ECU into thinking that extremely cold air is entering the engine causing the ECU into richen up the fuel mix and creating says their add,,,up to a 20 hp increase! sounds to easy, but maybe i'm just sceptical. has anyone tried one of these? thanks!

20 hp is rediculous for an IAT sensor

Who was it that said that there is "one born every minute?"

During the winter I use an IAT adjuster to make the computer think that the air is warmer than it really is. Do you think that I'm losing up to20hp?

I love it when advertisers use the words "up to." In this case close to zero gain is what most people get and some piece of junk found by the maker, where the sensor wasn't working correctly to begin with, gained nearly 20hp.

trust me you dont want the truck to run any richer then the computer is making it now, i lost power from it being too rich. plus your wallet better be fat because your mileage will drop. and if you want to fool the ait sensor then just move it to the air inlet tube.
