I am selling my truck and I was wondering what it would be worth on the market. It is a 99 club cab V6 sport with 105,000 original miles on it, However it has a brand new 3.9 engine just installed in it. The body and interior/exterior are in excellent shape. Any insight to what I could get for this truck would be of help. thanks

check out kbb.com, kelly blue book. You can find the value you can expect if you trade it in to a dealer and the value when selling privately.

I checked that but you can't tell because of the new engine, it doesn't take in to account that the rest of the truck has alot of miles on it,

The new motor probably won't change your trade value. If your selling it out right, I would price it slightly higher than blue book. Unfortunatly you probably won't get much more than the truck is worth even with the new motor.

Price also depends on demand in your area. Don't forget that KBB is out to make dealers rich at the expense of private sellers.

A new engine would certainly add value in my book as long as it was installed professionally and was a pro reman. Don't cheap out advertising it and promote the fact that the engine is new and clean the inside and you'll prolly get slightly more than going rate.
