I used to do that all the time when I lived in Indiana and North Carolina. Like going to movies. I worked at a place with a very small parking lot so people used to park on the street in downtown indianapolis. All of us with 4x4s would park on the mounds on the street.
just don't do it when the weather is going to be warm, saw someone do that and get stuck before. He was an idiot and got all 4 wheels on a mound though.

and the best part is getting that parking spot right up front. Just be sure to drop your gal off before getting on the mound, they don't like getting their feet wet.
