I need to skins for my Dak now. Truck has 255/65/15 Goodyear Eagle LS's on her now. I dont like thes tires at all they wore out to fast and i just dont like the size. Truck is a reg cab SXT 3.9 5spd will a 225/60/16 size tire be ok in my truck? i have the 16x8 rims i beleve. I went to NTB and the dude said i had to got with the same size tire unless i need to modify the rim as in get a smaller one or some BS....i think these tires are a little skinnier than whats on there now, i wanted to get the 235/55/16 Traction TA's but cant order them for another 2 weeks!!!! ARGH!! im impatient sometimes, i guess cuz its something for my truck i dunno...that ever happen to anyone? well any input is greatly appreciated!

How do you expect to put 16's on the rims that have 15's on them now, or do you have a complete seperate set or rims?? The 225/60 will be a lot smaller than what you have now. Not only narrower but also a bit thinner. If you want something that looks more meaty then go for like a 255/55 or something.
I had 215/75r15's and went up to a 235/70r15 and like it a lot more. I wanted some 255/70's but I got the 7inch wide rim and the dakota doesn't have the room either. (I thought I had 8in wide but you can only get an accurate measurement with the tire off)
