Subject: Happy With My New Rancho Shocks

Message:
I installed some Rancho shocks on my 2wd dakota last week, and they are a vast improvement over the factory shocks.

I had the shocks for a week when I finally decided to have the installation done last week on a snowy day. I drove around for an hour to get one last feel for the stock shocks before dropping it off at the shop. Afterwords there were the usual improvements, better handling, less nose dive when braking, better braking, but the most noticeable improvment was how the truck handled in the snow. The rear end seemed to be better planted and it wouldn't slide as much on the icy surfaces, and when we took it late at night to do some donuts in the parking lot, the circles where nice and tight, there was no slippage no matter how fast we pushed it when making the donuts.

So if anyone is wondering, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an upgrade on their factory shocks, who live in northern climates. As mentioned before my truck is only a 2wd, and I only got the 5000 series shocks, the 9000 series were overkill for my needs.
