When I am using cruise and on a hill and have the air coming out of the dash vents it will stop coming from there and go to the defrost vents and then comes back to the dash vents. Is this a common problem or is there something I can look at to resolve the problem? I didn't notice it when the truck was first bought, and

Common, it's an insufficient design of the check valve that mounts in the brake vacuum booster. All recent MoPars have this problem, and the dealers have a replacement part listed in a Technical Service Bulletin.

I had the same problem for about a year, then one day I noticed a vacume hose off on the valve next to the gas pedal. Put it back on and it's been fine since.
