 Subject: leaky 1990 5 spd 4x4from ?

any one know why this thing just started spewing tranny oil or better yet where its coming from?Looked under it and through the shifter boot and cant tell where its coming from.It appears to be somewhere on the passenger side right up under the shifter on the back of the tranny. Is there any factory holes up there?It seems to gush out when its running in gear or out.acts like a big holes up there where i cant see noticed it when 3rd gear let out a death screetch.I think its a NP2500 tranny cant read the sticker but the owners manual says it uses 10w30 Know its 3.9 4x4 Already tried the archives found the same ? but no answer.thanx for any info
