Message: I HAVE A 2003 DAKOTA CLUBCAB V6, SOMETIMES WHEN I START IT, IT THE IDLE IS HIGHER THAN NORMAL, AND AS I TAKEOFF AND OUT IN GEAR GIVE A LITTLE GAS AND LET OUT ON CLUTCH, IT IDLES REAL HIGH AND SOUNDS LIKE ENGINE IS GOING TO BLOW, BUT IT IS NOT THE THROTTLE, JUST THE IDLE OR SOMETHING, IT CONTINUES TO MAKE HIGH IDLE NOISE UNTIL I.M IN 4TH OR 5 TH GEAR EACH TIME I SHIFT UNTIL I REACH A CERTAIN SPEED, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT MAY BE THE PROBLEM.
Message: Hey i have the same thing happen to my 03 on occasion. Usually happens only on cold mornings when first started through the first couple gears. I have no clue what causes it, but just letting you know that your not alone on this issue
