I have one currently installed on my 03 v6. It is the split rear setup. It sounds really nice and deep at idle and the lower RPM's, but tends to get a bit ricey after 2500. It is moderately loud inside the cab, and really loud outside (people will definetly hear you coming) when you really step on it. Other than that I dont think its all that bad. There are probably some better sounding systems out there, but the Gibson isnt a bad choice by any means. It was very easy to install with only basic tools taking me a total of about 3 hours, working by myself.

I agree w/ Dak03ota And I have the single 3 inch stainless steel system (loud), and I lost alot of bottom end power. There are alot of chioces in what you can do w/ exhaust. if I could do it again I would just replace the muffler w/ a dynomax or a flowmaster (stock tailpipe), and use the $$ on other mods.

I had the split rear gibson system on my 2003. I would not suggest it. It sounded ok outside, but was way too loud inside. I switched it out for a flowmaster 70 with single outlet. Sounds way better (but not as loud).

I also lost low end with the gibson. The flowmaster is much better. The flowmaster only cost about $100.

I don't know too much about Gibson exhaust, but I did a custom system on my 95 dakota. I just made 2 1/2 inch and installed a Catco Hi-flow cat and a flowmaster 50 series. It sounds really good and I love it. I just wish I had the 5.2 or a 5.9...maybe in the future I'll drop one in..haha

I have a Gibson single side sweep. It's not too load at idle. Gets loader with rpm. At cruising the rumble is not that bad. At 75 mph, it can get to you after a long ride. So far my family has not complained. Good luck.
