the deal

I did the tps mod because my tps voltage was down around 55 and set it to .76. Everything worked great for about 2 months. Now its going crazzzy.

I set it to .76 and then when i drive away it jumps to 3.45 range. Also, this happend after i cleaned my TB yesterday. I tryed to take off the throttle blades and only got 1 off cause i stripped one of the screws on the right blade.

I took it to the shop and they are claiming that i messed up my TPS.

any ideas

now you know thats..................

When you're driving, it will do that. It varies resistance which changes the voltage output:

Idle = .76v
Mid Throttle = 2.0-2.5v
3/4 Throttle = 3.0-3.5v
WOT = 4.0+v

This is the normal operation for the TPS.
