 Subject: 1990 dakota axle

My axle made a sick noise, I discovered that the differential is shot, the axle sent to me does not have abs connection. My trans does have speedometer cable. Besides the idiot light for abs, will it still shift and work properly?

it will work fine,you just won,t have anti-lock brakes on the rear,
pull your dash and pull the bulb
