I still say pull that starter off and check its planetary gears, make sure they spin freely.

I have a 1994 Dakota with brake issues. The brake warning lights have been on for a while now. It was losing fluid, but I found no leak. Now the brakes seem to work ok unless I have a the truck loaded down with stuff. Then the front brakes want to stick. Earlier today i had about 700 lbs. in the bed of it, and the front brakes got so hot that the rims actually sizzled if you put water on them. Any idea why this is doing this? If so, please e-mail me @ smoke_eeter4ever@yahoo.com. Also if anyone has the blueprints for this brake system, I would like to know. thank you

front brakes sticking is usually caused by the rubber brake hoses breaking down on the inside and holding pressure on the calipers. On an 11 year old truck this would seem likely. If you were losing fluid it had to be going some where it could be that the hoses were leaking under pressure and the fluid was hitting the pavement so you could not see a wet spot on your truck.

I have a 1994 DAKOTA. My turn signals don't work
and the only brake lights I have is the one on
the tailgate. I checked the fuses under the drivers side dash and all were good. Are there
some more that I haven't found? I also checked the bulbs they all check good. Can anyone help?

I've been patiently waiting for 2 1/2 years for Larry to answer my turn signal question. Don't steal this thread now!

Ok, in answer to johnny 13334, more than likely its a fuel pump isssue.... My next problem is my cruise control...I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 with 162,500 Miles on her. She runs great but The blasted cruise doesn't work anymore. I have replaced the vacuum hoses from the engine block to it and made certain all of the seals are good to go...My next test was to check the fuses but all of the ones I found under the dash on the driver's side were good. Do I have some unknown fuses and is there anything Else I should check before buying an entire cruise control kit? I am also looking for a quick/free or cheap dia. of the dodge dakotas audio wire harness...Thanks for helping me out in advance!!!
