Subject: Weld the belly pan in place?
IP: Logged

Message:
Ok so i replaced my belly pan and in around 3 months it started to leak again...

I found a local machine shop that said they can weld an aluminum one in for $60

Should everything be ok or will the manifold have problems sealing to the heads?

Also did the 2002 come with a chain tensioner?
Where can i get a cloyes double roller timing chain set?
Stuff ill be doing since im that far in there

Thanks

The new metal gasket worked for me. Some people don't use a gasket, but use a sealer like - The Right Stuff.

An other alternative would be a pan from www.hughesengines.com
