Please help,
'96 dak, front passenger wheel is clunking BAD. The sound speeds up or slows down as I accelerate or decelerate. It's very loud at times and worse when turning right.

The wheel isn't loose. Any ideas?

Thanks,
daveo.

Based on noise coming from wheel-
Caliper is trashed and or rotor is warped. pull off all hubcaps to be sure they aren't rattling. Rotate and balance all wheels.

checked to see if there's movement (not rotational) in the wheel on the spindle? If so... your wheel bearing(s) probably need to be retorqued. I'd also inspect the condition of the bearings/spindle while you have things apart.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to pull the wheel off Sat. and take a look.

Ratdog, no it's not been lifted. Pretty much stock except for k&n air filter.
I'll let ya know what I find.

Thanks,
daveo
