I have a 2000 3.9L V-6 Dakota. I replaced the heater core last October at about 70,000 miles. This has been the only problem so far that I have had. Now, at about 90,000 miles when I go over about 3500 rpms, I am smelling anti-freeze again. I am also getting a little bit of film on the windshield, but no wetness on the carpet. Should I replace the heater core again, if you think it is the heater core, or is there some other cheaper way to fix the problem? Is there an aftermarket heater core that is better or can you take, say a Chevy, heater core and replace the Dodge heater core?

Doug
