92 V6 Fuel Injected w/103k mi. Stalls at random, never while cold always after running at least 10-15 minutes or more. Thought had it pegged to just when letting off gas or idle however just stalled while accelerating up a hill last time. At first would start back up immediately now have to wait 60 sec. or so before it restarts. Main electrical (radio and hazard lights) still work when engine dies. First time threw EGR error code so replaced but no luck. Replaced rotor, cap, plugs, wires. Muffler system and Cat seem ok, tapping produces no rattle, replaced less than 20k miles ago. Open to ideas as to progression of replacement parts- 1) coil then?

Have you checked ASD relay and the wiring under it ?
( underhood fusebox )
Look for that splice of 3 or 4 wires
redo it..

Ah,erh, no of course not – that would be WAY too obvious! Thanks ? it makes sense to me as it would follow exhibited behavior to replace the ASD Relay. Will also redo splices as soon as I can. Tired of being a LST (Large Steel Target) in middle of the road. Thanks again, I’ll know pretty soon if it works or not.

A big thanks to you ? she hasn't stalled since I replaced the ASD relay. Dealer had a heck of a time finding the part and it is a large shop, worth the struggle though! Best wishes and Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mike in Rochester MN
