Well I have a short one, I was driving behind a Beretta today and the head gasket blew. There was so much smoke you couldn't see the car. It was so funny when he had to pull over and walk. I loved the big bowtie in the back window.

Here's a good one...
There's this guy who has no girlfriend, doesn't even have time for a boyfriend, even though he wants one, because he spends all his time sitting in front of his computer eating potato chips and getting fat, being a moron and bothering people on message boards he doesn't belong on, and driving his S-10 pizza delivery truck.

why do you think the parts for a small block chevy V8 are so cheap?

because they constantly break down
so parts are made in large quanities!

They're almost too pitiful to pick on - we pulled a full size Chevy truck stuck in snow with my wife's old Subaru Brat.

Love my little Dakota ('90), but my favorite "cage" to date was my '68 elCamino with a 350hp 327, Turbo 400, 12-bolt 3.90:1 posi. But then... nowadays... when I wanna go fast(quick)... I swing a leg over my '99 Valkyrie (that'd be a murdersickle with six cylinders, six carbs... 0-60 in 3.8 seconds). Hee Hee Hee.

But... I sure likes my '90 Dakota LE 3.9 V6. She's got 137,000 miles on her, looks like it's about 4yrs. old and just purrs as sweet as ya please.

Then again... my '84 Hurst/Olds is a pile of fun too. (The decisions a feller has to make in the morning). LOL

So I was crusing up I-65 from Indianapolis doing about 80 mph heading toward a friends house near Valparaiso for a weekend long party one friday when I got passed by a dumptruck full of gravel. I should have known that was going to be a bad weekend because earlier i was stuck in the go lane driving 65 and got passed by a tour bus doing 80 in the slow lane.

that was the last time I borrowed my brothers chevy cavalier.

You guys moan and complain when someone comes here whining about dodge but your just as bad as them with horrible threads like this.

Let me give you guys a tip. All cars suck. Period. All brands makes models. Ive seen cars with 200k on them and no problems and ive seen cars with 15 on them and blown engines. From 4 diffrent brands. Its the luck of the draw. I love my dodge but that doesnt mean everyone has to.

first MOPAR, and I've found myself likin' this little truck more and more since acquiring it a month ago. But, I'm a LONG time bow-tie boy... actually... I'm pretty happy with the domestic stuff ("Ferd" bein' the exception).

My '84 Hurst/Olds is a hoot and still turns a head. 'Course... when I wanna go fast/quick... I swing a leg over a motorcycle with six cylinders, six carbs, and tons of chrome!! And, yes... it's built in Marysville, OH U.S. of A.

Everything I drive lights right off and runs smooth. I choose NOT to drive "new" stuff (although, all my motorcycles have been bought new). Here in Seattle, you get shafted for a new vehicle (tags/price), the insurance costs are sky high too. Who needs a major car payment to deal with?

When I wanna go fast... the Valkyrie gets the nod. If it's rainin' and I need to haul tools, the Dakota gets the nod.

Once in a while the Oldsmobubble gets the nod.

Lastly... I AVERAGE 30,000+ miles per year on my bike. An old "cage" suits my needs just fine. Your "new" cage probably won't see anything but the taillight of my bike. That is... unless you can do better than 0-60 in 3.8 seconds (right off the showroom). Oh yeah... and 40mpg too.

All I know is that speed is relevant...the Valkyrie may be fairly quick for what it is, but it's not fast. I've got a 16 year old 750 with 43,000 miles on it and I could walk on just about any cruiser on the market sans maybe the Vmax or the V-rod (Assuming the rider is better) all the while still averaging better than 45 miles to the gallon. Have you ever rode a sportbike? I'm guessing not, considering that even a 600 could tear your Valk a new one. My point is that you are comparing apples to oranges...this is a truck forum and of course your bike can out run a truck, but that definately mean you bike is fast.

BL...

However... my point was that there's always something lurking around that puts your favorite ride to shame. Talking down someone else's wheels does NOT make yours faster/better. My remarks were directed specifically at the reply of "ohmygod". His comments were rather ignorant and condescending in spirit... but then, that's sort of the whole point of a "brand bashing" thread... now, isn't it?

BTW... a "rider" on a Valkyrie just may surprise some sport bike riders. It's all a relative.
