Subject: Motor/tranny mounts

Message:
My motor mounts and tranny mounts are shot.(tranny can be moved a lot by hand in any direction) I am having no luck in locating better mounts so...
Is there something that can cross over and work on the dakota?(i can add shims if needed)
Should i make some kind of torque strap?

Thank you!

Try WWW.ENGINE-SWAPS.COM I got there urathane tranny mount and am very happy with it. I'm pretty sure this mount will work for a auto and a 5-speed but NOT 100% sure.

for what its worth
i have a 86 lowrider (Harley)
it's rubber mounted and since pumping up the HP i kept ripping the front motor mount
and at $60 a pop it takes the fun out of it quick
i went to a urathane front mount was allmost double the dollars ($119.) but man what a difference! not only has it not torn but
i get far less vibration also ....

so i've found first hand guys urathane mounts are the best

I havent been able to get in contact with WWW.ENGINE-SWAPS.COM.

Does anything crossover or different year/model have same type of motor and tranny mounts that are poly?

Thanks
