 Subject: 92 shifting problem

I have a 1992 dakota 4x4 with the 3.9 and a500 tranny. I keep up with the maintenance, but the transmission feels like it is slipping when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. The last time the fluid was changed the dealer used that atf +4. Anyone have any idea what could cause this problem. I am open to any suggestions.

Maybe a band adjust would help and turn up the
presure 1 turn
