What does it take to swap in lets say an old carbed engine and put in a tranny that doesnt have all the electrical components in a
2002 4x4 QC.

I only have 2 engines in mind right now...
ford 302 (may stroke it)
magnum 360
They both are easy to find motors and also easy to find parts for.
Im really interested in getting everything to work with out the electronics of the engine, tranny, and transfer case.
I have a spare carb laying around so i am curious as to how my v6 would act if it was carbed and before im full set on a swap.
Im really after disabling just enough electrical to get it to run carbed and if i still dont like the drivability of my v6 i will swap it out, or if the v6 works good its most likely getting pulled and worked over with a stronger upgraded drivetrain.
