i own a 98 dakota with a 3.9. yesterday the engine would not throw any heat. i checked the radiator & resevoir & i had to add about 1/2 gallon. it now gives off some heat, but not much. i have also noticed that the needle on the temp gauge barely moves off "c". i have not found any leaks. could the system be air bound, or could it be the t- stat? the truck has 69,000 mi. on it & i'm assuming the t -stat is original. thanx a bunch.
