 Subject: May trade in v6 Dak but need help

I have a 1996 Dakota club cab; 3.9 v6 auto 2 wheel drive SLT power everything, AC, sunroof, bedliner. Has about 116000 mi on it. I have found a 1992 Dakota, 5.2 v8 auto, black, 4wd, power everything, AC, bedliner, PS fluid cooler, LE decor, no sunroof. Has 162,000 mi on it.

If I can get a good deal with my truck as a trade in, is the new truck worth it? The mileage kinda worries me, but its a 318, so I know if it was cared for, it'll be OK. It seems to drive ok; 4wd works and makes no noises.

SHould i get the 1992 dakota or keep my 96?

92 and 93 ran a lil stronger then later years but if the mileage scares you then keep what you got. the 4wd and 318 are both really nice features. but the 160k on the auto kinda scares me. our transmissions were not the best in the world but they work. if you like the truck buy it and worry about maintainance when you get there. good luck.
