hey i gotta 97 dakota slt 4x4 ext. cab. when i bought it it came with a trailer hitch tube. i went out and bought a cover that lights up w/ the brakes are applied. but when i went to put it on there werent any wires to connect the hitch cover to(the wires that would be used for the taillights of the trailer). where and how would i get the wires to put the hitch cover on??

Walmart has a kit for the hitch lights on almost every car. I bought the kit for my dakota there. It plugs into the factory tail light plugs. You don't have to cut any wires to install.
