it means:
P0071 Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Range/Performance
is way out of range so you gotta fix it reseting the computer will work only until the computer hits closed loop then you will get the same code.

You said ambient air.

Do you have an overhead console?

The ambeint air temp sensor is used for an overhead console's temp reading.

My 95 cirrus did not have the instr. cluster that supported outside air temp and the like but it still had the sensor so the dak may be the same. if so it should be under the hood in front of the radiator, maybe by the hood latch.
