i have a 97 dodge dakota 4x4 w/ 15inch rims. i want to buy some tires from my friend, but i dont know how wide the rims are. the tires he has a 32diam, 15in rim and 10.5 wide, i was wondering if anyone could tell me if those tires would fit my rims.

I have a 97 2wd sport, with factory upgraded rims. The rims are 15x8 (stock). I put LT31x10.5 tires on my rims. Sports and SLT's come with 31x10.5 tires stock from factory. His tires are likely 32x12 (or 32x12.5) which should fit, if you have the upgraded rims and not the basic ones. Measure the width at the bead, 8", 9" will work and maybe 10"
