i can't get my dakota to start but it cranks well so i did a self diagnostics and get code 4-2 automatic shutdown relay driver circut what it and how do i fix

Under the hood, on the drivers side fender well,is the relay box and the root of your trouble. Swap the ignition relay with one of the other relays...example:horn relay...and if it fires up, replace that bad boy. About $17 @ Autozone.

Dang, I thought I hit it square in the nose. Look back into some of the replies in this forum and find the guy signed J&J auto. E-mail him, He's above average on these Doggoata's.
