OK, i was on there site(gibsonperformance.com) and was looking at the dual sport exhaust. And I notice that the one that is closes to my truck( RC 98 3.9) is the ext cab 3.9. And also they have an 00-03 system for a rc 3.9. Now could I buy either one of these systems and have them put on my truck or would they have to be mildly or massivly modded?

Don't buy either. I took the gibson I HAD on mine off in under six months. It was way too loud, robbed performance, killed gas milage (local driving), and the truck ran like crap with it on. I switched it for a flowmaster 70 and am very happy. If you want dual outlets, have a muffler shop bend them for you (probably cheaper than the gibson).

On another note, I went with the gibson on the dak because I had one on my 89 dodge van (318 FI). Ran and sounded great on that. Did not work well on the dakota 3.9L.

I've got the complete gibson system on my 99' 3.9l rc 2x4 and I haven't had any problems with it... I didn't put it on by it's self though... I put it on while I was doing all of my other mods... I've got the gibson headers, carsound cat, and gibson dual "straight out the rear" catback system... I think it sounds great... It sounds like a big block "gas guzzler" just idling around plus at highway speeds you really don't notice a louder sound, kinda quitens down... Then while downshifting it "racks off or crackles"... I got all of my system "whole exhaust system" from v8performance.com... I think it was 7 something shipped... I get, along with all of my other mods, 23mpg on average, but I have also heard a lot of good things about the flowmaster systems too, so I guess it just depends on what exactly your looking for...
