I was just wondering if anyone has put dual exhaust on their 3.7 yet? I'm tyring to decide if I would like to get some for my dak or not. If so, let me know how you like the sound.

Dual exhaust and a single in/dual out muffler are two different things and sound very different. Which one are you asking about? I can't give you an answer anyway because I've got a 3.9, but soon I'm going to be running a single exhaust that splits into two seperate mufflers. That's as close to a true dual exhaust as I'd dare to go with a six banger.

Yeah, I meant what you said being a 1 in and 2 out. I'm trying to see if anyone has done that on a 3.7 yet before I do it and regret it because it sounds bad. If it sounds anything like my previous Dakotas (96 and then a 99) then I will definately consider having some put on because both of them sounded very good for a 3.9l.

Thanks, Seth

Do NOT get true duals or anything remotely close to that on your V6. Unless of course you want minimal throttle response and ZERO low end response. I run a flowmaster 70 series single in single out, then split, and it runs great and has great response. I have ridden in my friends truck with a 40 series (louder) single in dual out, and he lost a lot of low end. On any V6 I would not recommend any more than ONE muffler at the MOST.

Yes its fun and sounds great,

Pace setter dual is the only one offering a dual
setup for the new Daks with a 3.7 and it works
and sounds great, a nice flow with some nice
response and pulse on the dyno runs adding around
12 to 15 RWHP.

I am a firm beliver in the 3.9 but now with the
new 3.7 and doing some work on them they do wake
up with a few mods to them they are very nice.

Jack my man from JCK Racinng and myself have seen
3.7's with a few mods pushing over 250 RWHP with
the basic 3.7 engines
