 Subject: Is rebuilding a carb hard?

I have a 87 Dakota 4 x4 3.9 with a Holley 6280 carb.
Can a novice rebuild this carb or should I leave it to a pro shop.
I'm a do it yourselfer, but not in carbs

Go buy a Holley book for $15, learn a few things, try it. It's not that hard, but you should have some knowledge of how it works.
If you don't have another vehicle I wouldn't do it because you need to take your time and may have problems. Make sure you have a clean area to do it.
You learn nothing by having someone else do it.
