I have a Flowmaster 40 series 2.25 inlet/outlet muffler and i was wondering if it would be worth putting on my 2002 Dakota 3.9L. I know the stock exhuast is 2.5 and I'd be going smaller but I was wondering if the extra flow would make up for the smaller size.

nope,

a 40 will be REALLY loud. I put a 70 Series Flowmaster on mine. Really up to preference.

you shouldnt have any problem with it... i put on a Deltaflow 40 with a high flow cat. The deltaflow got rid of the annoying drone that the regular 40 series has.... plus it makes the V6 not sound so ricey
